Product Owner
Building products that matter
Join our Product Development team and help shape the way businesses build customer relationships across phone, chat, and other conversation channels.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team and own the product direction for that team: what gets built, why it matters, and how you'll know it worked. You have real influence over where the product goes, not just which tickets move next.
Beyond your own team, you enjoy growing the product thinking in the organization. Through working alongside the other Product Owners, sharing how you approach discovery and decisions, and being someone others learn from.
From problem to outcome
We're looking for someone with strong product judgement who never loses sight of the user. You ask "what problem are we actually solving?" and "how will we know this worked?" before "what should we build?", and you help the team find a balance between these questions.
You take ownership from the moment a problem is still fuzzy all the way through to a working product, and you don't stop at shipping. You care whether it reached the user and made their lives easier. You can hold a line with stakeholders and say no with a reason, and you make decisions from evidence and user feedback rather than the loudest voice in the room.
🔎 What you bring:
Several years of experience as a Product Owner in an organization with mature product practice
Proven product discovery skills: problem validation, hypothesis forming, and outcome-based prioritization
Stakeholder and expectation management across teams and disciplines
Data-driven decision-making, using product metrics and user research
The ability to work closely with engineers while keeping the focus on product value
Experience in coaching or mentoring other product professionals
It’s nice if you:
Worked in product-led SaaS
Experience with continuous delivery or experimentation-driven product work
Worked in a self-managing or flat team structure
Helped a product organization mature its practices
📍 A note on where you work:
Much of the value in this role comes from working closely with your team, our Customer Experience colleagues, and the other Product Owners. We'd like you to be based in the Netherlands and able to reach our Groningen office once or twice a week. The rest is flexible.
🤝 This is what we offer you:
A role with real ownership of product direction in an experienced team
A job for 32-40 hours a week
A competitive salary
A lot of freedom and responsibility in a self-managing organization
A modern working place, at the office as well as at home
A personal study budget for you to grow as a professional
A job in an international organization with about 130 smart colleagues
And of course: a working culture where you feel at ease and can be yourself
Want to know all of what we have to offer?
You can find it here (link to our handbook)
💡It's no problem if you don't have any experience in self-management. We will gladly guide you. The most important part is that you enjoy taking responsibility and action yourself.
🌍 Please note that at this time we cannot offer visas to candidates outside of the EU.
One last thing… Vacancies can read like a checklist. They are not. If you feel drawn to this role, please apply, even if you don't tick every box. We'd love to talk to you and figure it out together!
